THINKING BIG ... Manchester City are plotting Etihad expansion
MANCHESTER CITY have shown how they plan to increase capacity at the Etihad Stadium to 60,000.
They say it would allow them to introduce a £299 season ticket.
An exhibition at the stadium, which currently holds around 47,500, has been opened as part of the consultation process.
City will hear the views of fans, neighbours and other stakeholders before making a formal planning application in December.
Club spokesman Pete Bradshaw said: “There is rising demand.”
