Tottenham ready to go in hard for Jese

Once the under-20 World Cup is over for Spain, Real Madrid will have to look at the Jesé Rodríguez situation. The Canary Islands forward has attracted the interest of a lot of clubs, especially in the Premier League. And, according to 'Sky Sports', Tottenham Hotspur would be prepared to go up to €11.5 million for him.

It is no longer an option for Jesé Rodríguez to renew his contract and then go out on loan. The player believes he has done everything he can to get his chance, and he doesn't see why he has to wait one more year. Moreover, Zinedine Zidane and particularly President Florentino Pérez are two of his admirers.

Real Madrid might fancy the Tottenham option, however, given the interest Florentino Pérez has shown in Gareth Bale, the midfield star the president has been looking at to put the finishing touch to his all-star squad.

The fact that the young Real Madrid player has been noticed by Tottenham could re-open negotiations for Gareth Bale, one of the players at the top of Real Madrid's wish list. Up to now, Real Madrid had apparently given up on Bale, but now all that might change, thanks to Jesé Rodríguez, the biggest star of the Spanish team at the Under-20 World Cup.
