Alexis: I want to do more for Barcelona

Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez is eager for the new season to get started.
With just eight goals in 29 appearances over the course of Barcelona's La Liga campaign, Alexis has not been as influential as some of his team-mates in the club's triumphant quest for the league title.
The Chilean international told Sport that he would have liked a higher goal return, but was nonetheless encouraged by his surge in form at the end of the campaign.
"I have mixed feelings about last season. I wanted to do more for the team, but was unable to really contribute something until the end of the season," Alexis shared.
"I scored a number of goals in the final games of the season, though, and I'm pleased with that."
With the arrival of Brazilian superstar Neymar to the Camp Nou this summer, Alexis admitted that competition for a place in the starting line-up had intensified.
"My ambition for next season is to win trophies and to become an important player for the team, although that won't be easy," he stated.
"A great player has joined us with Neymar and I am not the only one who wants to play."
