Bayern not budging on Gomez price

Bayern Munich have insisted that they will not accept a bid for striker Mario Gomez if their asking price is not met.

Gomez has previously made it clear that he is interested in a move to Fiorentina after losing his first team spot to Mario Mandzukic last season.
However, the move is held up with Fiorentina failing to meet Bayern's asking price. The Viola are reportedly tight on their budget and can only reinvest money after wantaway star striker Stefan Jovetic is sold but Bayern insists that they will not accept a lowered bid should it come in.
"Without the right conditions, there cannot be a deal," Bayern director of sport Matthias Sammer told Sport1.
"Until our requests are satisfied, nothing is going to happen. In any case, Mario only wants to join Fiorentina."
