Jeremy Toulalan wants to leave Malaga this summer, according to his agent.
Michael Manuello added that the 29-year-old France international is fed up with the upheaval at the Andalusian club, and is the subject of heavy interest from Atletico Madrid, Monaco and Rennes.
Speaking to AS, Manuello said: "Jeremy is on holiday in Monaco and he prefers to keep his distance from the press and has authorised me to declare his desire, wish is to leave Malaga.
"It's for personal reasons, but above all, the fact that the club's sporting project has changed direction in the last two years. We hope we will resolve his future this week."
AS reports that Manuello confirmed that the interest from Rennes, Monaco and Atletico was genuine.
He added: "He [Toulalan] has really enjoyed playing for the Malaga fans and everything the team achieved on the pitch, but during the turbulent period the directors promised him that they would not stand in his way when he wanted to leave.
"Now that moment has come. Jeremy trusts the word of the Malaga directors and we hope we'll find a solution very soon."
Malaga were taken over by the Qatari Sheikh and businessman Abdullah Al-Thani in the summer of 2010, and big money signings, including Julio Baptista, Santi Cazorla, Joaquin and Toulalan all followed.
However, the club soon ran into financial troubles, leading to the sale of Cazorla, Jose Salomon Rondon and Joris Mathijsen last summer, followed by the departure of Nacho Monreal to Arsenal in January.
This summer Malaga have seen coach Manuel Pellegrini leave to take over at Manchester City and midfielder Isco sold to Real Madrid.
