SWANSEA will have to fork out £4.5million for Jonjo Shelvey.
Talks about a move for Liverpool’s England Under-21 midfielder have opened between the two clubs.
Shelvey, 21, is not a major part of Brendan Rodgers’ plans and the Kop will cash in on a player they signed from Charlton for £1.7m in 2010.
The Swans are also close to completing the £2m signing of Espanyol defender Jordi Amat.
The 21-year-old impressed in his breakthrough La Liga season while on loan with Rayo Vallecano — Michu’s old club.
He would become the third new Spanish arrival after Jose Canas and Alejandro Pozuelo.
