Rafinha, contract renewal and mandatory loan
Posted Wednesday, June 26, 2013 by Marca.com

Barcelona has been working on renewing the contracts of several of its youth players for some time now. One of them is Rafinha, whose contract ends in June 2014. The club wants to loan him out, but has to renew his contract first, otherwise he would be free to leave once his loan deal expires.
The novel aspect of the new contract which it wants Rafinha to sign is the inclusion of a clause which would allow the club to loan him out whenever it wants. And it is this clause which has the player less than convinced.
Rafinha is a midfielder who is being followed by several clubs. One of them is Luis Enrique's Celta. The former 'Azulgrana' reserve team manager wants to take several of the lads who played under him when he worked with Barça's youngsters to his new club.
Fontàs has already reached an agreement with Celta and is the first to accept an offer from the Galician club. Luis Enrique has also requested Dos Santos, but the player has not yet made a decision.
