Paulinho: Spurs have made bid for me

BRAZIL midfielder Paulinho has confirmed that Spurs have made a bid for him.

The 24-year-old, playing for his country in the Confederations Cup, said: “There is an official offer from
Tottenham to Corinthians. But, as I did when there was an Inter Milan offer, I’ll sit with my family before I make any decision.

“I will only do it after the Confederations Cup because it’s hard to deal with all these things.”

Tottenham’s bid is around £15million and would almost certainly spell the end for England international Scott Parker at White Hart Lane.

Paulinho, who has been at Corinthians for three years, has 15 Brazil caps so a work permit should be a formality.
He scored a fantastic equaliser for Brazil against England earlier this month.
