Juan Jesus calls for Inter improvement

Inter Milan defender Juan Jesus admits his side must avoid a repeat of their disappointing 2012/13 campaign in the new season.
The past year has been one to forget for the Nerazzurri following a terrible season, which saw them finish ninth in Serie A, fall short in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia as well as eliminated in the Europa League Round of 16.
Their abysmal displays ultimately saw coach Andrea Stramaccioni get the sack and ex-Napoli boss Massimo Moratti has since been appointed as his replacement.
But with the past campaign now over and done with, Juan Jesus believes his team-mates must look to the future and aim to reclaim their place among Italy's elite.
"For us, it was a very difficult year," he told Band Sao Paulo TV. "Inter are used to fighting at the top of the table and this season was tough for us.
"Next year we must prepare our best and I hope and think that Inter can be back competing for the title."
Inter finished a staggering 33 points behind eventual champions Juventus, who made it back-to-back Scudettos with this latest triumph.
