ROO-T OF THE PROBLEM ... Wayne Rooney wants to stay in England if he quits Old Trafford
WAYNE ROONEY will decide his Manchester United future in crunch talks with new boss David Moyes next week.
Chelsea and Arsenal are both ready to offer the England star a route out of Old Trafford.
Moyes is due back from holiday on Monday and will speak to Roo before United start pre-season training on July 3.
Europe’s top clubs are monitoring the situation along with Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea and the Gunners.
Roo — who made his breakthrough under Moyes at Everton — would prefer to stay in England for family reasons.
And it is believed the 27-year-old would favour a switch to Stamford Bridge.
But yesterday the odds on him joining former team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid were slashed.
Rooney could settle his differences with United — and he wants to speak to Moyes before making a firm decision.
Had Alex Ferguson continued in charge, it was inevitable the striker would have left. But the new start with Moyes could mean a truce.
