Michael Laudrup insists he’s staying at Swansea despite rowMICHAEL LAUDRUP insists he is staying put as Swansea boss despite reports he is in talks to take over at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Dane, 48, has been at the centre of a blazing row with Swans chairman Huw Jenkins over funds for new signings.

Jenkins also ruled out further dealings with Laudrup’s friend and agent Bayram Tutumulu, who accused the Capital One Cup winners of trying to sign only cheap Championship players ahead of their first season in Europe.

But Laudrup maintains he will honour the two-year contract he signed in March. He said: “I have repeated many times in the last three months my intention is to stay.

“I have 100 per cent confidence in Bayram and if the club don’t want to work with him, that is their problem not mine.

“The only thing I care about is having the best possible players at Swansea who are within range of the club’s economy.”

Laudrup is top of PSG’s hit-list to replace Carlo Ancelotti after being snubbed by Andre Villas-Boas and Guus Hiddink this week.
