Zoltan Gera: The midfielder would be a free agent this summer when his contract expires
Zoltan Gera is still in talks with West Bromwich Albion but it is hoped an agreement will soon be reached on a contract extension, according to the midfielder's agent.
The Hungarian will become a free agent this summer but he could yet stay at The Hawthorns, where he returned in 2011 after three years with Fulham.
There has been a delay in a final decision between West Brom and Gera, partly because of his knee injuries.
But Gera's representative, Filipovic Vladan, remains optimistic his client is close to agreeing a deal to stay with the Premier League club.
"If West Brom have not had the intention to keep Zoltan Gera, then they would not have talks with us," Vladan told Nemzeti Sport.
"We have been negotiating about the conditions of the extension and hopefully the agreement will be made soon."
