Perez: Xavi, Iniesta by frustrated with Mou

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes recent verbal attacks on Jose Mourinho from Barcelona's Xavi and Andres Iniesta were borne out of frustration.
Following Mourinho's departure from his position as Real Madrid manager, the Portuguese came under heavy condemnation for his approach from the Barcelona duo, with both Xavi and Iniesta insinuating that Mourinho did more harm than good for the sport in Spain.
The new Chelsea boss recently hit back at Iniesta's suggestion that he had "damaged Spanish football" and Perez sided with his former manager's opinion on the matter.
"I understand that Xavi and Iniesta are frustrated with Mourinho. They did not win a single one of their last five games against us," he pointed out to Marca.
"Barcelona used to win all the games against Madrid, but then Mourinho arrived at the club. So Jose is right with his comments."
Firing a critique of his own back at the Barcelona pair, Perez urged them to do their talking on the pitch.
"It's not the best of strategies to start criticising your opponent when you cannot beat him," he stated.
