Casillas: "My back? I'm always fit to play"

Casillas: For the first time, Iker Casillas has made a comment about his absence for the Osasuna match. On being asked about his back, following Mourinho's comments in which he said he was "not fit", he answered: "I'm always fit to play".

The Madrid goalkeeper did not want to elaborate, opting not to explain further during the Confederations Cup launch by Italian media company, Mediaset.

This is how the conversation with the journalist went:
- Is your back ok?
- Yes, better.
- Were you well enough to play this weekend?
- I'm always fit.

Regarding national team coach Vicente Del Bosque's words of support for the goalkeeper, Casillas said: "I'd like to thank Vicente for his faith in me after four months without playing".
