Sunderland have placed Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster on a shortlist of candidates to replace Simon Mignolet should the Belgian international depart this summer.
Mignolet is attracting attention from Arsenal after a superb season for the Stadium of Light club.

Boss Paolo di Canio hopes to head off that interest by tying the 24-year-old to a new contract, although a sizeable bid from one of England's big four could persuade the Wearsiders to sell.
If that happens, it's understood Forster would be high in their thoughts following his impressive displays for Celtic at home and in Europe.
