Mourinho labelled Real "failure" by Calderon

Former Real Madrid president Roman Calderon has labelled Jose Mourinho's stint in charge as a "failure".
The Portuguese manager's spell in charge of Real Madrid will draw to a close at the end of the current campaign. During Mourinho's three-year stint at the Santiago Bernabeu, he has won the three domestic Spanish tournaments, La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Supercup, just once and fell shot in his attempt to win La Decima, or the club's 10th Champions League title.
Speaking to Sky Sports' Revista De La Liga, Calderon had no qualms in declaring the former Chelsea boss' time at the helm of Los Blancos as a "failure".
"Of course he has been a failure, it is the worst record of any Real Madrid manager who has had three years or more there. I insist that it is not only that reasons. I think you can be unsuccessful at a club for many reasons. What I really don't like and what many followers of Real Madrid don't like is the way he has behaved," he pointed out.
"I don't know what he did in England but his behaviour in Spain wasn't compatible with Real Madrid's history. We have a part of our hymn which says 'when we lose, we shake hands' - we don't poke fingers in eyes, which is what he did to Tito Vilanova."
However, the 61-year believed blame for Mourinho's flopped stint should be placed solely on the club's board.
"I have always said that he wasn't the only one to blame - that's also down to the people who brought him to Real Madrid," Calderon stated.
"Mourinho was like that before he arrived at Real Madrid."
