SAO PAULO (AP) -- Ronaldinho and Kaka have been left off Brazil's roster for next month's Confederations Cup.

Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari also overlooked Alexandre Pato and Ramires on his roster announced Tuesday but included Neymar, Oscar, Marcelo, Lucas and Thiago Silva.

While Kaka has been struggling for playing time at Real Madrid, Ronaldinho has been playing well for Atletico Mineiro in Brazil.

Brazil has exhibitions against England on June 2 at Rio de Janeiro's refurbished Maracana stadium and against France on June 9 at Porto Alegre. At the Confederations Cup, a warmup for next year's World Cup in Brazil, the hosts play Japan on June 15, Mexico on June 19 and Italy on June 22.

The roster:

Goalkeepers: Diego Cavalieri (Fluminense), Jefferson (Botafogo), Julio Cesar (Queens Park Rangers, England)

Defenders: Daniel Alves (Barcelona, Spain), Dante (Bayern Munich, Germany), David Luiz (Chelsea, England), Filipe Luis (Atletico Madrid, Spain), Jean (Fluminense), Marcelo (Real Madrid, Spain), Rever (Atletico Mineiro), Thiago Silva (Paris Saint-Germain, France)

Midfielder: Paulinho (Corinthians), Fernando (Gremio), Jadson (Sao Paulo), Hernanes (Lazio, Italy), Lucas (Paris Saint-Germain, France), Luiz Gustavo (Bayern Munich, Germany), Oscar (Chelsea, England)

Forwards: Bernard (Atletico Mineiro), Fred (Fluminense), Hulk (Zenit St. petersburg, Russia), Leandro Damiao (Internacional), Neymar (Santos)
