Redknapp and stars take pay cut after QPR go down

HARRY REDKNAPP was out scouting talent for next season’s Championship bid before seeing relegated Rangers salvage some pride against Arsenal.

The QPR boss spent the first part of the afternoon at Selhurst Park where Crystal Palace beat Peterborough 3-2 to grab a Championship play-off spot.

Redknapp said: “I went to Palace, had a look and I’ll get to as many play-off games as I can. If I get some players in and change things around then we’ll give it a good go — but it won’t be easy.”

Redknapp will miss on-loan Tottenham midfielder Andros Townsend next term.

He said: “He’ll be a top player. Arsenal paid £10million for Nacho Monreal and Andros ripped him apart.”
