Dumbarton vs Airdrie United preview - Sons look to secure safety

Dumbarton entertain already-relegated Airdrie as they look for the win that could see them secure their First Division safety with defender Paul McGinn expected to return to action after a hamstring injury.
Nicky Phinn remains out with a calf problem as manager Ian Murray looks for a repeat performance following Tuesday night's 3-1 success at Falkirk.
Murray said: "We played well in that game and got goals at good times. To stay up would be a great achievement if you consider where we were when I started back in November with five points.
"We are confident, we are at home against an Airdrie side who have not won in a while but that does mean we will automatically win. We have to go out and earn the win."
Airdrie have Ricki Lamie suspended as they look to end a run of 13 games without victory.
The Diamonds are short of numbers with Nathan Blockley (ankle), John Boyle (knee), David Lilley (groin), Jordan Kirkpatrick (knee) and Gavin Griffin (ankle) all ruled out due to injury while striker Paul Di Giacomo is also absent after leaving the club by mutual consent this week.
Manager Jimmy Boyle said: "It has been a long season without too much joy, however we owe it to our fans to go out and try and get some more wins on the board.
"Dumbarton have done well recently but we want to end the season on a bit of a high."
