Perfect Muangthong start ended by Buriram

Defending Thai Premier League champions Muangthong United's perfect start to the 2013 season was ended on Wednesday after they were beaten 2-1 by Buriram United.
Entering the game at the SCG Stadium with five wins from their opening five games, Muangthong found themselves behind in the 17th minute when Javier Patino lashed home a ferocious half-volley from the edge of the box, and the Philippines international made it 2-0 seven minutes later with a close range finish.
The Twin Qilins pulled one back in the 69th minute when Dagno Siaka netted but they were unable to find an equaliser as Buriram hung on for all three points.
However, Muangthong remain top of the table despite the defeat after second place Suphanburi failed to fully capitalise as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to BEC Tero Sasana.
It was the visitors who took the lead in the 39th minute when Brazilian striker Cleiton Silva netted his fourth goal of the campaign, but Suphanburi fought back strongly in the second half and forced the draw four minutes before the hour mark through an equaliser from El Salvador international Christian Castillo.
Chonburi climbed two places up to fifth after cruising to a 2-0 win at bottom side Bangkok United, taking the lead through Suttinan Phuk-hom's 39th-minute effort, before Thiago Cunha wrapped up the three points when he fired home from the spot six minutes from time.
Bangkok Glass picked up a much-needed win after beating Osotspa Saraburi 3-0 - their first victory of the season. Pravinwat Booyong fired them ahead from the spot in the 19th minute, before Chatree Chimtale doubled their lead six minutes after the hour mark.
And in the third minute of injury-time, Peter Lang ventured forward to grab his second goal of the campaign to cap off a fine evening's work for the Glass Rabbits.
Phanuwat Jinta struck the only goal of the game in the 89th minute to hand Songkhla United a 1-0 home win over Chiangrai United, while Chainat beat Samut Songkhram by the same scoreline; Bojan Bozovic scoring the winner a minute after the hour mark.
Army United continued their fine form and climbed up to fourth on the table with an emphatic 4-0 win at TOT. After Tatree Seeha had broken the deadlock ten minutes in, Anuwat Noichernphan added a second four minutes after the half-hour mark to give the visitors a commanding lead at the break.
12 minutes into the second half, Chainarong Tathong added another to all but seal the win for Army, before Jakkraphong Somboon rounded off the scoring five minutes from time.
Finally, ten-man Ratchaburi overcame the 83rd-minute dismissal of Jang Gil-hyeok to beat Pattaya United 2-1 at the Nongprue Stadium.
Rattana Petch-Aporn had fired Ratchaburi into the lead in the 10th minute, but the hosts pulled level eight minutes after the hour mark through a Jung Ji-soo strike.
The Dolphins were then handed a numerical advantage when Jang received his marching orders but four minutes from time, Rattana netted his second goal of the game to hand Ratchaburi all three points.
