Stenhousemuir's bad run of injuries to key players has continued with Scott Buist is missing out on the visit of champions Queen of the South.

Buist injured his knee in Saturday's 2-1 win over East Fife and is condemned to the sidelines.

The Warriors are already without Brown Ferguson, who has an ankle injury, while Kevin McKinlay and Stewart Kean miss out with calf problems.

Teenage striker Salim Kouider-Aissa is struggling with a foot complaint for a game that has to be won to keep alive home hopes of a play-off place.

Manager Martyn Corrigan said: "We have the slimmest of chances and we are facing impressive champions but as long as we have a chance we have to go for it. We are missing big players but we will look to win."

Champions Queen of the South welcome back Stephen McKenna from a one-game ban as they look for league win number 28.

Willie Gibson continues to be missing with a leg injury and Ian McShane is not yet ready to return following a hip problem.

However, the Doonhamers are boosted by the news that manager Allan Johnston and his assistant Sandy Clark have signed one-year contract extensions.

Johnston said: "We have one last remaining target this season and that is to beat the record set by Gretna in 2006 of 88 points in this division.

"Winning this takes us level with two games to play and that is a huge incentive to win.

"Stenhousemuir have been tough opponents all season and I am sure they will be again."
