Vucinic unimpressed by Sanchez to Juve talk

Mirko Vucinic does not believe Juventus necessarily need reinforcements following rumours they are about to bid for Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez.
The reigning Serie A champions, who are currently on track for a second straight title, have recently been linked with a move for Sanchez, who has struggled to establish himself since moving to the Nou Camp from Udinese two summers ago.
Calls for more firepower up front were amplified earlier this week when the Bianconeri were booted out of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals after a 4-0 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich, but Vucinic insists the current squad deserve plenty of credit.
"I'd just like to remind people that this group has been doing great things for the past two years," he told Sky Sport.
"Sanchez is a great striker, but Juventus have the best attacking lineup and are already competitive as things stand.
"It really annoys me to hear people say that I play without desire. I train every day with commitment and try to give 100% in each workout."
The Montenegrin international admitted the damage had been done in the first leg when a lacklustre display allowed Bayern to claim a two-goal lead in Munich, but wants his team-mates to bounce back on Monday when they take on Lazio.
"The result from the two games shows there's currently a difference between us and them," Vucinic added. "Above all, during the first leg in Munich where we played below our capabilities.
"Later, we tried to give everything in Turin.
"We'll put in a typical Juventus performance on Monday, playing with the same desire display up until now."
The Bianconeri are currently top of the table and lead second place Napoli by nine points with just seven games left to go in the race for the Scudetto.
