Another 3 points for Peter Crouch! Striker tops Prem's bad driver table
League of their own ... (l-r) Micah Richards, Carlos Tevez and Peter Crouch

STRIKER Peter Crouch is topping the table — as the Premier League star with an even worse driving record than Carlos Tevez.

The gangly Stoke City ace racked up an incredible 21 POINTS on his licence before being banned from the road.

But Crouch, 32, is only one of a whole squad of big-name players who have driven into trouble.

Just this month FIVE stars, including Manchester City striker Tevez, have faced court on traffic charges.

Tevez, 29, took his points total to 18 after being caught driving while under a six-month ban.

The £200,000-a-week Argentine was handed another six-month disqualification, fined £1,000 and given 250 hours’ community service.

Fellow Manchester City stars Samir Nasri and Micah Richards have also copped road bans.

French midfielder Nasri, 25, was disqualified for six months in a row over speeding fines.

Defender Richards, 24, was clocked doing 51mph in a 40mph zone and failed to name the driver when speeding notices were sent to him.

He got six penalty points on top of nine he already had and was banned for six months on Friday. He even posted a cheeky cartoon of himself, Tevez and Nasri cycling on a TANDEM.

Newcastle’s French midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa was caught at 110mph. Ben Arfa, 26, who did not have any insurance, was hit with a 49-day driving ban and £5,100 fine.

And Sunderland’s Irish winger James McClean, 23, was given a three-month ban and fined £700 for speeding at 95mph.

Crouch racked up his 21 points with a string of speeding offences and failing to give cops information.

Second is Spurs defender Kyle Naughton, 24, with 20 points. He got a 15-month ban.

Next are Tevez and Nasri on 18, beside Arsenal’s on-loan Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner, 25, banned for speeding at 103mph.
