East Fife vs Stenhousemuir preview - Fifers to assess trio

East Fife have injury doubts over Darren McCormack, Stevie Campbell and Darren Smith ahead of the visit of Stenhousemuir.
Billy Brown will name his XI once fitness tests have been carried out on the trio, with the Fifers boss hoping his side can build on their midweek draw against Stranraer as they go into another crucial clash in their bid to climb out of the relegation play-off spot.
Brown said: "We have not had a break in any games recently so hopefully that marks a turning point. We got the point that keeps us in the race to avoid relegation so we want to keep going now.
"The key has to be to defend better and if we can keep the back door bolted then we have strikers that can win this one."
Stenhousemuir are again hampered by injuries with Stewart Kean missing out due to a calf strain and Salim Kouider-Aissa absent with a foot problem.
The pair join Brown Ferguson (ankle) and Kevin McKinlay (calf) on the sidelines, however striker John Gemmell is expected to shake off a groin injury to play.
Manager Martyn Corrigan said: "Injuries have affected us badly all season but we have to get on with things. It is not impossible for us to reach the play-offs and therefore we need to go out with a determination to get there.
"It is a huge game for East Fife as well but I want us to earn the 15 points we have available between now and the end of the season."
