Livingston will be without defender Craig Barr through suspension against Hamilton.
Manager Richie Burke will finalise his side after fitness tests on Kyle Jacobs, Tony Andreu and Stefan Scougall and with Burton O'Brien (groin), Keaghan Jacobs (knee) and Ross Docherty (groin) already missing it could be young Lions team that takes the pitch.
Burke said: "The guys that are doubts have a 50-50 chance of playing so I have a number of our under-19 squad standing by.
"Hamilton are flying just now so the side we put out will need to be up for the challenge. We played Cowdenbeath in midweek and that was a battle on a poor pitch whereas this game will be more of a footballing contest."
Hamilton will be without Mickey Devlin, who is suspended after he was sent off in the 5-0 win over Airdrie in midweek.
The Accies also have doubts over Jonathan Page, who has a hamstring problem, and Louis Longridge who broke his nose in training earlier in the week.
Kieran Millar remains sidelined due to a knee problem.
Boss Alex Neil said: "We have done well to beat Dunfermline and Airdrie but I will not be kidded by that. Dunfermline have a weakened squad and Airdrie are short of confidence so the Livingston game represents a really tough challenge.
"Stevie May got a hat-trick in midweek and got the headlines but it was a terrific team performance as well."
