Cowdenbeath vs Livingston preview - Cameron could pick himself

Cowdenbeath player/manager Colin Cameron could return against Livingston at Central Park after naming himself as a substitute for the Falkirk game on Saturday after two months out with a hamstring problem.

The experience of the former Scotland player could be required as the Blue Brazil look to end a run of four defeats with Dean Brett (ankle), Liam Cusack (knee) and Pablo Navas (hip) out, with Lewis Milne a doubt due to illness and Kenny Adamson struggling with a back problem.

Assistant manager Lee Makel said: "We have to make up for a really disappointing second-half performance against Falkirk when we went from a side chasing a win to a side that lost 4-0.

"It is good to have the opportunity to do that so quickly afterwards."

Livingston welcome back Iain Russell after suspension.

But the striker faces a fight for a starting place with teenager Kyle Lander, who made a goalscoring debut in his side's 3-0 defeat of Dumbarton at the weekend.

Recently appointed player/coach Mark Burchill's international clearance has still not arrived and the long-term injured Keaghan Jacobs (knee) and Ross Docherty (groin) remain out, with Stefan Scougall, Marc McNulty and Tony Andreu all required to pass fitness tests before they can play.

Lions boss Richie Burke said: "We were a few players down at the weekend and put on a great display to win. Cowdenbeath will be fighting for everything on a really tight park but I want us to do exactly the same in this game."
