Arbroath will be without former Scotland internationalist Brian Kerr against Stenhousemuir after the midfielder sustained a knee injury in Saturday's 4-2 win over Forfar.

Everyone else in the Gayfield squad is available to player-manager Paul Sheerin, who is looking for his men to boost their play-off chances and put a large dent in the Warriors' hopes.

Sheerin said: "We had a great win at Station Park to get into a play-off place and it is time to build on that with a good performance and win at home.

"For some reason we have not been at our best at Gayfield recently but this would be a good time to put that right, especially as it opens up a decent gap on our visitors."

Stenhousemuir will again be without captain Scott Buist through suspension as they look to end a run of five games without a win.

Brown Ferguson is a major doubt with a knee problem and Kevin McKinlay has been ruled out with a calf problem as manager Martyn Corrigan looks for more purpose from his side.

Corrigan explained: "We are looking nervous in games which is affecting us and causing mistakes. We started really nervously on Saturday against Albion Rovers and that cost a goal in the first minute and then we never showed enough composure as we looked to get level.

"We have always down well at Arbroath and it is time for us to get back to going out and playing with a purpose and determination."
