Partick increased their lead at the top of the table to five points following a goalless draw at Raith.

Brian Graham almost fired the hosts ahead inside the first minute but saw his strike pushed round the post by Scott Fox.

The visitors responded through James Craigen but he failed to beat David McGurn.

Christopher Erskine went closer still shortly before the interval but still could find no way past McGurn.

The Jags were reduced to 10 men just before the hour mark Aaron Muirhead was shown his second yellow card in eight minutes for a challenge on Stuart Anderson.

Despite their numerical advantage, Rovers failed to capitalise on Muirhead's dismissal and survived a late scare as Stuart Bannigan fired just wide inside the area.
