ARSENE WENGER fears for Abou Diaby’s career after the Arsenal star’s latest injury shocker.
The midfielder, 26, will be out for nine months with a ruptured cruciate ligament — his 36th injury in seven years.
Gunners boss Wenger said: “I thought originally it was just a little twist of the knee.
“When they told me it was a rupture of his cruciate, it’s demoralising.
“I hope he will find the resources and the strength to fight for a comeback because he was quite down.
“I hope he will not give up.”
