Feyenoord confirm Fiorentina bid for Tottenham target

Feyenoord have confirmed they have received an offer for Tottenham target Jordy Clasie - but will wait until the end of the season before discussing whether to sell him.

talkSPORT told you recently how Dutchman Clasie, wanted by Spurs among a string of other top European clubs, was on Fiorentina's radar.

We revealed how the Serie A side were ready to make their offer for Clasie and now a deal is on the table for the midfielder, who is seen as one of the best prospects in Holland.

“We do not need to sell him, nor do we particularly want to, but we have to think of the player’s ambitions and evaluate the offers from other clubs,”

Feyenoord technical director Martin van Geel told Voetbal.

“There is an offer from Fiorentina, but we’ll only discuss it at the end of the season. Right now the players must focus only on Feyenoord.
