Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been cleared to face Barcelona in the Champions League quarterfinals after an appeal to have his two-game ban reduced was upheld by UEFA.

The former AC Milan striker was sent off in the dying minutes of Paris Saint-Germain's 2-1 victory over Valencia in the first leg of their last 16 tie, and was subsequently handed a two-match suspension.

However, after a successful appeal from the club, UEFA has decided to reduce the punishment to just one game, meaning Ibrahimovic will be available for both last eight legs against old club Barcelona after he served the ban in the reverse fixture against Valencia.
