Rafinha has revealed he is eager to stay at Bayern Munich and work with new boss Pep Guardiola next season.
The defender has found first team football hard to come by this term, making just 10 appearances in all competitions, with Philipp Lahm and David Alaba the regular choices in the fullback slots.
Though it would appear unlikely he will return to favor under current boss Jupp Heynckes, the 27-year-old is now focused on working with Pep Guardiola, as he prepares to take over the reins at the end of the campaign.
"I want to stay here. We have a new coach coming in with Guardiola in the summer and I would like to work with him," Rafinha told Goal.com. "I have a contract until the end of next season and I intend to fulfill my contract.
"I don't know yet whether I would like to stay here until the end of my career. I am Brazilian and it would be nice to play in Brazil for one or two seasons."
The right back then went on to voice his opinion that Bayern are on a par with Barcelona and Real Madrid as one of Europe's top teams.
"Bayern are among the best three clubs in Europe. This is a great club and one of the best in the world. At the moment, Barcelona and Real Madrid are probably among the top three teams, too."
