Arturo Vidal is hoping Chile team-mate Alexis Sanchez will join him at defending Serie A champions Juventus in the summer.
Sanchez's future at La Liga giants Barcelona has been subject to speculation recently given he's failed to nail down a regular place in the starting XI, and Italy has been identified as a possible destination should he decide to leave the Nou Camp.
And Vidal, who has been a real success since joining the Bianconeri from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2011, would welcome such a move with open arms.
"I do not know whether Alexis will come to Juventus," he told Tuttosport. "But I would be pleased if he did."
When asked about his own future, following reported interest from Bayern Munich, the dynamic midfielder was quick to assure the Juve faithful he was fully committed to the club.
"Can I promise the fans that I will stay at Juventus this summer? Yes, that's 100% certain," Vidal added.
"I still have a contract for three more years."
Since joining Juve, Vidal has become part of an impressive midfield trio also consisting of Claudio Marchisio and Andrea Pirlo, and was a key factor behind the Bianconeri's Scudetto success last season.
