Marotta hopes to retain Conte for 'many years'

Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta hopes that current coach Antonio Conte would remain at the helm of the club for the forseeable future.

Conte's arrival at the club in 2011 saw Juventus win the Scudetto for the first time since 2003 and the Bianconeri have continued their successful run this season, leading the Serie A by nine points while also having booked a spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Bayern Munich.
Marotta hopes that the former Juventus defender will stay with the club for the long term and build a dynasty, much like how Sir Alex Ferguson has been at the helm at Manchester United.
"Conte is a great coach and I hope he will remain at Juventus for a long time to come," the sporting director told Radio Anch'io Lo Sport.
"I understand that not everyone is like Alex Ferguson, but I am convinced that we will have him with us for many more years.
"We have created a model club and squad. There is a coach who is hungry, as well as the players. Everybody plays with enthusiasm and knowledge of wearing an important jersey."
Juventus will face a stern test after the international break with away matches against Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.
