ARSENE WENGER fired a Champions League warning to Chelsea and Tottenham after Arsenal’s crucial win at Swansea.

The Gunners desperately needed the points to keep up the pressure on their rivals and also reclaim fifth spot from Everton, who had temporarily gone above them after beating Manchester City.

Wenger said: “We knew the win was absolutely necessary and we couldn’t drop points. We’ve shown we’re up for a fight.

“To win away at Bayern Munich and three days later in the Premier League is very difficult.

“After Everton’s win the pressure was big. We have the right spirit and attitude.”
