Sevilla vs Zaragoza preview - Sevilla strive to succeed at home

Sevilla boss Unai Emery has admitted his side's woeful away form has put the pressure on them to perform at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Emery's side have not won on their travels at all in 2013, which has undermined their bid to secure European football next term.

A 2-1 defeat at struggling Real Mallorca last weekend highlighted the type of problems that have washed away once they step on their home turf.

Sevilla have won five of their past six in Andalusia and will be expected to overcome relegation-threatened Real Zaragoza on Sunday.

But after coming unstuck to another of the bottom clubs last week, Emery has warned his side they can not afford to take their home form for granted.

"We have to be positive at this time of the season and, therefore, we should say our home form is strong," he told a press conference.

"There are thoughts at the moment to try and resolve our problems away and break that negative run which is holding us back in our league position.

"But while that is in our minds we need to continue to show our strength at home because it is a weapon."

Emery has warned complacency could be a problem against a free-falling Zaragoza, who have not won in the league at all this year.

"We have to expect the best of them," he said.

"Manolo Jimenez will make sure they are strong and they will make it difficult for us to play our game.

"We'll have to play through that adversity.

"The players must be fully alert and awake. The team can nor relax at any time.

"Any thoughts that this might be an easy game would make it more difficult."

Zaragoza's long winless league run was stretched to 10 games following a goalless draw with Getafe last weekend.

It is a run that could eventually see them slip into the bottom three by the end of this weekend.

"We just need to win. It is important we win," on-loan striker Ruben Rochina said.

"It does not matter who we play we have to focus on ourselves and try to win. We have to be together as one team of players, coaches and fans."

Sevilla are set to be without defender Fernando Navarro and back-up goalkeeper Beto after both have suffered with the flu this week.
