Alloa Athletic vs Brechin City preview - Gordon beefs-up Alloa defence

Alloa welcome back Ben Gordon from suspension to the centre of their defence against visitors Brechin, who are aiming to go 13 points clear in the chase for second place.
The Wasps will be without Stephen Simmons due to suspension, while a calf injury will keep skipper Darren Young out of a game that manager Paul Hartley believes will be an exciting game.
Hartley said: "The two games between us this season have seen nine goals and some great play. This game will be as well.
"Ray McKinnon has done a terrific job there, but we want to open up a bigger gap.
"They still have five games in hand over us so can catch us, but winning this one would make it a bit more difficult."
Third-placed Brechin, 10 points behind second-placed hosts Alloa with five games in hand, will have Gary Fusco available after suspension.
Craig Molloy remains sidelined with a knee injury and manager Ray McKinnon is hoping to have a new player in before kick-off.
"We have only a small squad and a lot of games to be played so I'm in discussions with a Premier League side about bringing a loan player in.
"It would be great if he could face Alloa as they're a strong side.
"On our last visit we came back from two goals down to draw and then beat them at our place, but they have added Callum Elliot and Kevin Moon since then and that has really strengthened their team."
