Inter defender Juan Jesus has insisted that the Nerazzurri do not fear Tottenham's Gareth Bale ahead of Thursday's Europa League encounter.

The Wales international has been in sublime form in the past few months, and has fond memories of Inter as he impressed in his last encounter with the Giuseppe Meazza side.

Nevertheless, Juan is confident that Inter has what it takes to keep the winger quiet this time around.

"He’s a great player who’s playing well. But I don’t believe Inter are afraid of anyone," the Brazilian defender said at a press conference. "We want to play our own game and we think we can do it well."

The defender then went on to underline the importance of Walter Samuel to Inter and stressed that the club is feeling the Argentine's absence.

"He’s a very important player for us, and especially for me," he said. "He helped me in many ways when I first came to this team. We hope he comes back soon to continue where he left off."
