New deal for Evra

PATRICE EVRA will be given a 12-month contract extension by Manchester United.
The French left-back’s current deal runs out at the end of next season and he was linked with several clubs last summer.
But United want to reward the 31-year-old’s outstanding form this term with a new deal.
They are also keen to insert a rolling 12-month annual review to bring him in line with the rest of their 30-somethings.
Evra, who has four goals this season, earns around £85,000 a week and the champions-elect do not want him entering the final year of his deal with nothing new in the pipeline.
