Cowdenbeath scored a last-gasp equaliser to claim a 2-2 draw against fellow strugglers Dumbarton.

The away side took the lead after 11 minutes when Greg Stewart set up James Stevenson to slot home from 12 yards.

Dumbarton started the second half positively and they were rewarded after 66 minutes as James Lister flicked on a superb first-time cross from Mark Gilhaney into the path of Bryan Punty, who scored from a few yards out.

With six minutes to go the Sons took the lead when Scott Agnew found space inside the box and fired beyond Thomas Flynn.

Their joy was short lived though and as they protested Mike Tumilty's decision to deny them a penalty, the visitors broke.

The ball fell to the Blue Brazil striker Craig Moore in the area and he fired home in the last minute to ensure the spoils were shared.
