I have a say

Forfar defender Mick Dunlop is struggling to face bottom club Albion at Station Park after suffering a knee injury in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Ayr.

The Loons, who can move back into fourth place with a win by two goals or more, will be without Keith Gibson who is sidelined long-term by a knee injury and Odmar Faero who has been on international duty with the Faroe Islands.

Manager Dick Campbell said: "We played really well at Ayr but we came away with nothing which was disappointing. If we can get a win over Albion Rovers that would be great but a win that moves us back into fourth place would be even better.

"It will not be easy as Albion are fighting for their lives."

Albion manager Todd Lumsden will finalise his team once he knows whether former Scotland striker Robbie Winters is signing on a short-term deal.

The 38-year-old has played as a trialist for the Cliftonhill side in their last three games, but his two goals in that spell have attracted interest from elsewhere.

Lumsden said: "Robbie is speaking to another couple of clubs but he has promised us an answer before we head to Forfar."

Rovers will be without Ryan Scully (head), Tony Stevenson (knee), David Crawford (hamstring) and Chris Boyle (hamstring) and Lumsden added: "We are not down and out by any means.

"We intend to go to Forfar and get the win that will bring our season alive again."
