Dumbarton will give midfielder Garry Fleming as much time as possible to prove his fitness for the game against Raith after he suffered a knee injury in Saturday's 2-0 defeat from Falkirk.

Nicky Phinn is another doubt for the Sons after he pulled out of the warm-up with a calf problem and he is another who faces a late check.

Definitely out are goalkeeper Jamie Ewings, who has a jaw injury, and Andy Graham who is nursing a broken wrist.

Manager Ian Murray said: "We made a poor start against Falkirk on Saturday and that cost us the game.

"This is too important a game to do that in again as a win would move us up the table and also have Raith Rovers in our sights."

Raith defender Dougie Hill is included in the travelling party.

Hill has completed the suspension that began when he was sent off for the third time this season against Hamilton back on January 19.

Ross Callaghan remains sidelined with a knee knock as Stark's Park boss Grant Murray looks to repeat his side's recent success over their hosts.

Murray said: "We beat Dumbarton 3-2 a week past Saturday and that was a great game to win as they had been on a great run up until then.

"They will be out for revenge for that result and also to make up for losing to Falkirk at the weekend. Another win over Dumbarton keeps us looking up the way and not down."
