U.S. international midfielder Michael Bradley made good on his return to AS Roma's starting lineup, assisting on the game-winning goal in the Giallorossi's 3-2 road victory over Atalanta on Sunday.

Dropped from the starting XI by interim manager Aurelio Andreazzoli for Roma's triumph over Juventus last Saturday, Bradley re-established himself with a thorough 90-minute showing in snowy conditions that almost forced a postponement of the match. The 25-year-old American capped off his day with a pinpoint lofted ball struck with his right foot. Bradley's ball toward the far post found Greek international Vassilis Torosidis, who ran onto it and connected for a looping header in the 71st minute to broke a 2-2 deadlock.

The win was Roma's second in a row following a six-game winless stretch in league play that coincided with the dismissal of manager Zdenek Zeman. The resurgence has Roma back in the mix for a berth in next season's European competitions, as the club is back within striking distance of a top-five finish.
