BLUES BUDDIES ... John Terry kisses Frank Lampard after winning the Champions League
JOHN TERRY cannot bear the thought of his pal Frank Lampard ending his career away from Chelsea.
Midfielder Lampard, 34, is in the final months of his Blues contract and has not been offered a new deal after 12 years at Stamford Bridge.
But his captain Terry, 32, insisted: “Frank has so much more to give and he has been an inspiration to everyone at the club.
“He has got years ahead of him and we all hope they will be spent here at Chelsea.
“I am not even going to entertain the idea of him playing for another club.
“Even at his age, he is still the best trainer by a million miles.”
Lampard has scored 199 goals for Chelsea.
JT added: “People think he is just in the right position at the right time but that is the result of a lot of hard work.”
