Vazquez knows importance of Sevilla trip

New Deportivo La Coruna coach Fernando Vazquez has labelled the trip to Sevilla a must-win game.
Vazquez, appointed on Monday as successor to Domingos Paciencia, has taken charge until the end of the season with Deportivo lying bottom of the Primera Division table, six points adrift of safety.
The Galician club - who head into the clash against 11th-placed Sevilla having recorded victory in only three matches this term, losing all of their last four - have 15 fixtures left in which to try to save themselves from the drop.
And Vazquez has declared he wants three points on the board immediately, saying: "There are decisions I have to make still regarding the line-up, but what I do know is we have to win the game.
"I will try to win the game and I will be asking for it.
"I will make all possible transformations to put Sevilla in trouble - I'm not going there to draw."
Vazquez is trying to foster as optimistic a mood as possible within the Depor camp.
"I have energy and enthusiasm and I am trying to pass this on to the players and make them see the Sevilla game as a chance to win, joyfully, with no depression," he said.
"The situation is as it is so let's face it."
Depor have 16 points so far for the campaign and regarding the amount they might require to stay up, Vazquez said: "You may not need the statistical average of recent years, it may be less - maybe 40.
"It depends on many teams, especially those from above.
"For example, if Real Madrid (who are third, 16 points behind leaders Barcelona) give up on the league there are points that will be in the air. It's complicated."
Sevilla are looking to bounce back from their 4-1 defeat at Real Madrid last weekend, a result the Andalusian side's coach Unai Emery is not dwelling on.
"Losing at the Bernabeu is what we consider normal," Emery said.
"The team was not good there, but you have to move forward and understand that the Bernabeu war is not ours.
"Our war is on Friday, at the Sanchez Pizjuan."
