The 26-year-old departed the Ligue 1 giants last summer to join Spurs and is looking forward to facing his old team-mates when the two sides meet in the Europa League
Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris insists that he will be focused entirely on winning when he faces his former club Lyon in the first knockout round of the Europa League.
The Frenchman spent four years with the Ligue 1 outfit before departing for north London last summer but is set for a reunion with his old team-mates in Thursday's first-leg clash at White Hart Lane.
And, while Lloris says he is looking forward to facing the French side, he stressed that he will give his all to try to help his current club progress.
Ahead of the match, he told Spurs' official website: "I received a lot of calls and messages! I have a lot of friends there still.
"It's not easy for me because I have a good relationship with all my ex-team-mates but that is football, that is the life. On the pitch there are no friends. We play for our team and give all the best for our team.
"The objective is to be in the next round. We have ambition in this competition – we want to win."
