Napoli to rival Spurs for Brazilian strike star

Napoli have earmarked Tottenham target Leandro Damiao as the man to replace Edinson Cavani.
Manchester City and Chelsea are both in the running to sign the Uruguayan striker Cavani in the summer, with the Serie A side hoping to start the bidding at around £45m.
And if he does leave Naples, the Serie A side's number one target to replace him will be Internacional's Damiao.
Tottenham first tried to land the Brazilian two summers ago but walked away from negotiations when their £14m bid was ignored. They have been back in since, however, and tried to sign him in January but they left it too late.
Now though, Spurs face the prospect of missing out altogether as Napoli have made
Damiao their priority - and they could trump the north Londoners in the pursuit as they will have the Cavani cash to use.
