Juan Roman Riquelme has revealed his excitement ahead of embarking on another adventure with Boca Juniors.
The 34-year-old signed on for a fourth spell with the Argentine giant on Saturday and is relishing the prospect of winning more trophies with Los Xeneizes.
"I returned three times and I won three times. I'm excited to win something else," Riquelme told the club's official website. "We are going to try to stay in the Libertadores. Carlos [Bianchi] is very confident and that transmits to the players. It changes your mentality. I hope that we can win something and give joy to the people.
"Physically I feel very good. I don't know when I am going to play, I'm going to keep training and talking with the coach.
"Carlos will decide when to count on me. He's going to play me when I am ready and if not, he won't play me."
The former Argentina international also noted the emergence of Boca starlet Leandro Paredes and believes the youngster will play a prominent role in the future of Argentinian football.
"He plays well, I like him," Riquelme said. "He has a lot of pressure on him, he's young. He always wants to improve and he's going to be a figure of Argentine football. I am lucky to be with him and I'm going to help him however I can."
