Runaway Second Division leaders Queen of the South will be on usual lines when Stenhousemuir visit with midfielder Ian McShane missing due to a hip problem and Willie Gibson also out with an ankle injury.

Despite their 16-point advantage, player/manager Allan Johnston is keeping everyone at Palmerston grounded.

"Stenhousemuir have experienced players and gave us a really tough game at our place earlier this season when we had two men sent off. They also dominated the opening half of the game at Ochilview until we got to grips with things so they are very difficult opponents," he warned.

"Our players have played at a consistently high level all season and all I can ask them to do is to play at that level again."

Striker Stewart Kean will miss out due to a calf injury when Stenhousemuir visit his former club.

The Ochilview side also have doubts over on-loan Dundee midfielder Jamie Reid, who has picked up an ankle knock, as they look to be the first Second Division side to win at Palmerston this season.

Manager Martyn Corrigan said: "Queen's have a strong squad who have done really well this season but we are going there with confidence. We have had three clean sheets in a row, but we are still not turning enough of our chances into goals and hopefully that will change.

"Despite Queen of the South being top of the table and having a fantastic home record we will go down there and look to win."
