Dutch starlet Adam Maher says he will leave AZ Alkmaar in the summer - but insists he won't be joining Arsenal.
AZ boss Gertjan Verbeek, who had slapped a £8.5m price tag on the 19-year-old last month, tipped his young prodigy to join Arsenal when he leaves Alkmaar.
Despite firm interest from PSV, Maher failed to earn a move during the last transfer window, but he insists he will be on his way at the end of the season.
He told NUSport: "In the summer I expect there will be a realistic bid. It is certain that I will be leaving."
When asked if he would be moving to the Emirates Stadium, he added: "I have already said that I do not want to go. I want a good stay in the Netherlands, at least another two to three years - I am only 19.
"PSV is a nice club, but on the other hand I live in Amsterdam. Last summer and last winter I indicated I want to go to PSV, but PSV was the only club that wanted to sign me. But I can also play for Ajax [too]."
